Content Policy

DopeStudy only works if students can trust every card, and if the deck respects other people’s work. These rules apply to every card, suggestion, image and comment.
1. Your own words only
- Write each card yourself. Summarise facts in your own words rather than copying sentences from books, notes or videos.
- Do not paste text, questions, explanations or mnemonics from coaching platforms, question banks or paid notes.
- Short, standard facts (a drug’s antidote, a normal value) are fine. Copying someone’s wording or structure is not.
2. No coaching screenshots or copied images
- Do not upload screenshots or images from coaching apps, videos, PDFs, question banks or textbooks.
- Only upload images you created, or images under an open licence (for example public domain or Creative Commons) with the licence and author noted in the Source field.
- Never upload anything that could identify a patient: faces, names, hospital numbers, or scans with labels.
3. Every edit cites a source
A suggestion cannot be submitted without a source. Use one of these forms:
- Book: title, edition and page, e.g. “KD Tripathi, 9th ed., p. 210”.
- Guideline: issuing body, name and year, e.g. “ICMR STW Hypertension 2024”.
- PYQ: exam and year, e.g. “NEET PG 2024” or “INI-CET May 2025”.
Drug doses, numeric cut-offs and staging criteria need a primary source, such as a standard textbook or the current guideline. Maintainers will ask for one if a doubtful source is cited.
4. Coaching tags are references only
Tags such as #DopeStudy::Source::Marrow::<Chapter>, ::PrepLadder:: and ::BTR:: only record which chapter a card relates to, so students can study alongside their course. They must contain chapter names only, never copied content. DopeStudy is not affiliated with any coaching platform.
5. Be respectful
- Review the edit, not the person. Keep comments specific and polite.
- No harassment, hate speech, spam, self-promotion or political content.
- Do not game the leaderboard with trivial or split edits.
6. Enforcement and takedowns
Maintainers reject or roll back content that breaks this policy. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to account suspension. If you believe content on DopeStudy infringes your rights, email [email protected] with a link to the card and details of your work. We will review it and remove infringing material promptly.
